Terms of Use and Privacy Policy – inxserv.eu

This page sets out the terms of use of the website inxserv.eu (the “Site”) and explains how INX SLU, a company established in the Principality of Andorra (“INX”, “we”, “us”), processes personal data collected through the Site, in accordance with the Andorran Qualified Law 29/2021 on personal data protection and, for users located in the European Union, the GDPR. It does not cover the INX shop, which is operated on the Tebex platform and has its own terms and privacy policy, nor the Discord servers, which are governed by Discord’s terms.

1. Who we are

INX is an independent community. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Studio Wildcard, Snail Games, Valve (Steam) or Discord. “ARK: Survival Evolved” and “ARK: Survival Ascended” are trademarks of their respective owners.

2. Terms of use

2.1 Scope

By browsing the Site or creating an account, you accept these terms. The rules that apply inside the game servers (seasons, wipes, raid rules, tribe limits, sanctions) are published and updated on the INX Discord; they form part of these terms for anyone who plays on INX servers.

2.2 Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian agrees with your use of the Site.

2.3 Your account

  • You must provide accurate information, in particular a valid email address and your own Steam ID. The Steam ID is used to link your account to your in-game statistics (leaderboards) and to apply server sanctions.
  • One person, one account. Keep your password confidential; you are responsible for everything done through your account.
  • You can update your details or delete your account at any time from the “Your account” page.

2.4 Acceptable use

The following is prohibited on the Site and on INX game servers: cheating, meshing, exploiting bugs, using unauthorised software, impersonation, harassment, hate speech, spam, scraping, attempts to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the Site or the servers. Breaches may lead to a warning, a temporary or permanent ban from the servers and the Site, and the recording of the Steam ID concerned on our ban list. Bans are decided by the INX admin team; appeals are handled on Discord.

2.5 Content you post

You keep the rights to the content you publish (profile texts, images, comments). You grant INX a non-exclusive, free licence to display that content on the Site for as long as it is online. Do not post content you do not have the right to share.

2.6 Availability and changes

The Site and the game servers are provided “as is”. INX may modify, wipe, suspend or close servers and features at any time, without compensation. In-game items and progress have no monetary value and may be lost during wipes or resets.

2.7 Liability

To the extent permitted by law, INX is not liable for indirect losses, loss of game data or downtime. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.

2.8 Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Principality of Andorra. Disputes are subject to the courts of Andorra, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.

3. Privacy policy

3.1 Data we collect

  • Account data (required): username, email address, password (stored hashed), country, Steam ID.
  • Optional profile data: first and last name, languages, website, profile picture, cover picture, description, newsletter preference.
  • Gameplay data: in-game statistics linked to your Steam ID (kills, ranking, tribe) shown on the INX leaderboards; ban records (Steam ID, reason, date).
  • Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, server logs, and cookies (see section 4).

3.2 Why we use it and on what legal basis

  • Running your account, the Site and the leaderboards – performance of the contract between you and INX.
  • Security, anti-cheat, moderation and ban management – our legitimate interest in keeping the servers fair and safe.
  • Newsletter and announcements – your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Audience measurement (Google Analytics) – your consent given through the cookie banner.
  • Legal obligations – answering lawful requests from authorities, keeping records required by law.

3.3 Who receives your data

  • OVH (France) – hosting of the Site and its database.
  • Google – Google Analytics (audience measurement, with your consent), Gmail (sending of Site emails such as account confirmations), YouTube (embedded videos, loaded only after consent), Google Translate (on-page translation). Google may process data in the United States under the EU standard contractual clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
  • CookieYes – management of your cookie consent.
  • INX leaderboards (subdomains of inxserv.eu) – your username, account identifier and Steam ID, to display your statistics.
  • Discord and Tebex (shop) are external services with their own privacy policies; the Site only links to them.

We do not sell your data.

3.4 How long we keep it

  • Account and profile data: as long as your account exists. When you delete your account it is removed from the Site’s database immediately; it may survive in backups for up to two months.
  • Ban records (Steam ID, reason, date): for as long as INX operates its game servers. Bans for cheating are permanent and are not lifted.
  • Leaderboard statistics: one month at most, then reset.
  • Technical logs and IP addresses: only for the time needed to detect and block abuse (failed logins, attacks), and never longer than our backups. Our hosting provider keeps its own technical logs under its own policy.
  • Backups: rolling backups kept for two months at most.

3.5 Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. You can edit or delete your account yourself from the “Your account” page. For any other request, contact us at . We answer within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the Andorran Data Protection Agency (APDA, www.apda.ad) or with the data protection authority of your country of residence.

3.6 Security

Passwords are stored hashed, the Site is served over HTTPS, access to the administration is restricted and protected against brute force, and regular backups are made. No system is perfectly secure; tell us immediately if you suspect your account has been compromised.

3.7 Minors

The Site is not intended for children under 16. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

4. Cookies

  • Strictly necessary: WordPress login and session cookies, the cookie that stores your consent choices (CookieYes) and the language cookie used by the on-page translator. These do not require consent.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics cookies, only if you accept them in the banner.
  • Embedded content: YouTube videos may set cookies when they are loaded; they are blocked until you consent.

You can change your choices at any time from the cookie settings button displayed at the bottom left of every page.
